What’s included with my Subscription? All five Main Stage shows PLUS the Summer Show! You are also allowed 10 minutes advance admission to the house to choose your seats (more on that below).
How do I make my show reservation? Easy! Just email me your dates at firstname.lastname@example.org and I’ll have your tickets put aside for that show. I’ll confirm your reservation by email. You can give me the entire season of dates all at once, or just give me your date a couple of weeks before the show opens.
How soon should I make my reservation? As soon as you know when you’d like to come! If a show is sold out when you send your date, we may have to move you to another show. Don’t wait until the end of the run to make your reservation!
What about seating? All of our seating is open, first-come-first-served. You have a fabulous perk with your subscription – 10 minutes earlier admission into the house! That means you get to enter 40 minutes before curtain to choose your seats (sorry, no holding seats for non-subscribers). When you check in at the box office, be sure to mention that you’re a Subscriber and we’ll give you your Early Admission Pass then.
How about handicap access? We have ramps from both ends of the parking lot up to the front door, as well as a ramp inside that takes you down to house level. If you will be in a wheelchair, it would be helpful to email us ahead and let us know so we can reserve an aisle seat spot for you (we remove that chair when you arrive so your wheelchair can slide into its place). Let us know if you have other concerns and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.
What if I can’t make a show? If you need to change your date – no problem. Just email me at email@example.com with your original date and the date you’d like to move to and we’ll do our best to fit you in. Your tickets are also transferrable – just email me the name of the person that will be coming in your place. Sorry, no refunds for missed shows (did I mention – don’t wait until the end of the run to make your reservation!)
Can I bring drinks/snacks into the house? Sure! We have a bar area where you can get drinks and snacks for a donation (cash only, please), and you’re welcome to take them in with you. If your show has an intermission, we staff the bar then too.
What else should I know? Desert Rose Playhouse is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Our ticket sales only cover a portion of the funds necessary to keep the lights and air conditioning running, so we depend on outside donations to help fill the gap. If you’re interested in becoming a Sponsor, Sustaining Donor, or making a one-time donation, we’d be happy to discuss the options with you.
